Sicilitude was born from our love for Sicily and a deep desire to help others reconnect with their roots. We are three Sicilian women, who have lived abroad, but always felt the pull of our homeland. Inspired by our experiences and the richness of our culture, we decided to return to Sicily to live and work, dedicating ourselves to sharing its beauty with the world. We came together to create an organization dedicated to roots tourism — helping people rediscover their ancestors and forge meaningful connections with our island.

With fluency in English, French, Spanish, and German, we bridge the language gap between clients who don’t speak Italian and relatives who don’t speak English, ensuring smooth and clear communication at every step.
We don’t stop at archival searches. We conduct on-site visits, providing detailed photographic documentation and, where possible, establishing personal connections on behalf of clients who cannot travel to Sicily.
For clients able to visit, we offer guided tours to the places where their family’s story began, crafting personalized itineraries to explore sites of historical and cultural significance.
