At Sicilitude, we believe in the power of stories, roots, and the strength that emerges when women come together with a shared purpose. That’s why being part of Fempreneurs, the female entrepreneurship program powered by Isola Catania, is not just an achievement—it’s a turning point in our story.
Last year, after a rigorous selection process that involved interviews and careful evaluation, we were chosen among many talented women-led projects to join this empowering journey. It was a milestone for us—not only as a growing brand but also as three women deeply committed to building something meaningful, rooted in Sicilian culture and values.
From the very beginning, Fempreneurs proved to be more than just a training program. It offered us a space where we could grow, learn, and most importantly, believe—in our project, in our potential, and in the impact we can have on our community.
We cannot speak about this journey without highlighting the extraordinary work of Isola Catania. More than just a physical space, Isola is a cultural and creative hub that pulses with energy, vision, and inclusivity. It’s a place where ideas are nurtured, talents are cultivated, and community is at the heart of every initiative. Through programs like Fempreneurs, Isola Catania is actively shaping a new narrative for the South—one where innovation, culture, and female leadership are not only welcomed but celebrated. Being part of their universe is not only a privilege, it’s a source of continuous inspiration.
Throughout the program, we’ve had the privilege of learning from expert trainers and industry professionals who brought both depth and inspiration to every session. The curriculum is rich, practical, and focused on real-world challenges entrepreneurs face.
What made this experience even more powerful was the network we found ourselves part of. Connecting with visionary women from across Sicily—each with their own unique voice, challenges, and dreams—was deeply energizing. During the March bootcamp, we also had the incredible opportunity to engage with institutional partners such as the U.S. Consulate in Naples, which gave the experience an international dimension we hadn’t expected, but fully embraced.
What we’re experiencing with Fempreneurs goes beyond business strategy and market positioning. It’s about community, resilience, and shared purpose. It’s about knowing that we are not alone, that there is a sisterhood out there made of talented, courageous, and visionary women who are rewriting the rules—together.
We are truly grateful to Isola Catania for believing in us, for welcoming us into this vibrant ecosystem, and for giving us the tools and the confidence to grow with intention.
Being part of Fempreneurs has taught us that when women support women, incredible things happen. And at Sicilitude, we’re more determined than ever to honor this journey—not just by building our own path, but by helping other women do the same.
